Man Arrested For Riding A Horse Drunk On A California Freeway

Here's one guy who got real horsepower while riding on the freeway.  The CHP says a Placentia, California man was arrested Saturday after riding a white horse on the 91 Artesia Freeway in Long Beach.  Officers received a call around 1 a.m. that a man was on a horse on the eastbound 91 between Paramount Boulevard and Downey Avenue.  The Highway Patrol found the rider after he got off the freeway at Downey Avenue and rode toward Bellflower.  Luis Perez was soon arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.  The horse was not harmed and was soon released to Perez's mother.  Incidentally, Saturday was Perez's 29th birthday.
