Daily Do Good: Missing Alabama Woman Found After 36-Hour Search

An Alabama woman was found safe and sound after being missing for 36 hours following a car crash Friday night. Lisa Holman’s vehicle was located after the accident, but the 45-year-old woman was nowhere to be found.

Authorities and volunteer rescue teams started a desperate search and even used drones to try to locate Holman. They finally found her in the woods, alive and well, except for some broken bones. While Pelham Police Department is still trying to piece together details of the last few days, the family is so grateful for everyone who helped find Lisa.

"A true community effort and genuine concern for one of our own," Pelham Police say. "One man literally gave her the shoes off his feet to walk out while he walked out barefoot."
