Daily Do Good: City Cuts Barbershop in Kutztown Encourages Kids To Read

posted by Andi -

City Cuts Barbershop in Kutztown is encouraging its young clients to read with its "Books By Kids" program. They say their goal is for the kids to build their confidence up by reading in front of others while getting a haircut since about 75% of adults fear public speaking. City Cuts Barbershop also give the kids $3 for reading while in the chair.

They are currently asking for gently used books to be donated for the kids to read. To make a donation, you can drop off books at City Cuts Barbershop in Kutztown or email andi@y102reading.com. For more details about program, check out City Cuts Barbershop's Facebook page.
