Kids who were shopping at a Goodwill store in Fort Collins, Colorado on Saturday were treated to an early Christmas present. For the last 10 years, an anonymous philanthropist has bought out the entire toy section at the store so every boy and girl at the store could take home something to play with for free.
Staff at the store starts setting aside children’s books, toys, and stuffed animals before the big toy giveaway day to make sure there are enough presents for all the kiddos. When asked why this Secret Santa does this good deed every year, he says it’s become “an important part of his family’s tradition.” He and his wife even stayed in the store for a bit to see the kids’ happy reactions to their generosity.
