Disney, Idina Menzel, and Demi Lovato Are Being Sued Over “Let It Go”

Disney’s “Frozen,” gave birth to the iconic hit, “Let It Go,” but according to international music artist Jaime Ciero, it was stolen from his 2008 hit, “Volar.”

According to Ciero, “Volar,” recorded in Spanish, was "a huge international success reaching millions of listeners and landing on numerous charts of the most popular, top-performing songs."

Ciero says the similarities of the two songs include note combinations, structures, hooks, melodies, lyrics, themes, production and textures. He is suing Disney, Idina Menzel, and Demi Lovato for profits from the movie, the marketing, and the music.

You can take a listen to both songs below.
