Fitzy’s 5K Halloween Event, Sunday, October 29th, 2017
Lauren's Foundation will hold its 13th annual Fitzy’s Halloween 5K Run/Walk and .3 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, October 29th, at the Stone House Park in Wyomissing, PA. This family Halloween event includes a 5K Run, starting at 10:00 a.m. and a .3 mile Fun Run, starting at 11:15.
In addition to the run/walk event, there will be entertainment, games, a silent auction, goodie bags for the kids, snacks, food, refreshments and a buffet lunch/cookout. There will also be a supervised kid's area for Moms and Dads that run and a health fair featuring information from the Gift-of-Life organization, American Brain Tumor Association and local health-care providers. Halloween costumes are encouraged but optional! There will be a costume contest with cash prizes for winners!
Pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $10 for the 1 Mile event. 5K registration includes a long-sleeved T-shirt while supplies last! Same day registration is also available, starting at 8:30 a.m. For more information or to register, please visit www.laurensfoundation.org.
Proceeds from the event are used to support Berks County families by providing scholarships for disadvantaged students and financial assistance for families with seriously or terminally ill children. Lauren's Foundation also supports brain tumor research and organ donation awareness.
