A stretch of Route 422 between Reading and Hershey will be closed for months because of a sinkhole. PennDOT officials say a sinkhole opened in a parking lot at Palmyra Bowling in North Londonderry Township, Lebanon County. They say they were concerned the hole could spread to the roadway -- especially with the recent rainfall. They say Route 422 could be closed until Thanksgiving because of the repairs.
