Daily Do Good: Indiana Cops Help Stranded Ohio Family Get Home

When an Indianapolis police officer found a family in need, he went above and beyond to help them get home. Sergeant Morgan found an Ohio family of four stranded at an Indianapolis hotel, so he contacted Greyhound to find out how much bus tickets back to their town would cost.

Then Sergeant Morgan set up a GoFundMe page for the family and using his personal Facebook contacts, he helped the campaign raise the $290 needed for the tickets. He also gave the family an extra $100 so they could buy a meal while waiting for the next bus.

And it gets even better - The Indianapolis Metro Police Department reports that Sergeant Morgan and Officer Maurice Norris even gave the stranded fam a ride to the bus station. Now that’s service!
