Two separate accidents have occurred Tuesday morning on Route 222 in Berks County. Both accidents are reported to involve fatalities.
-In Maidencreek Township, an accident in the area of Pleasant Hill Road has closed 222 in both directions. The accident is reportedly between a vehicle and a dump truck.
-In Richmond Township, an accident is reported at Krause Road. Reports say one vehicle hit a tree. Avoid the area.
