The Animal Rescue League of Berks County will be having a FREE cat and kitten adoption weekend on June 17 and June 18. Cat and kitten adoptions will be in memory of Juli and her cat Buddy.
“Juli was a wonderful young woman who loved her cat, Buddy, with all her heart,” stated Liz McCauley, Executive Director of the ARL. “We are very thankful that Juli’s family is sponsoring cat adoptions this weekend. It is a chance for families to welcome a cat into their home during the time of the year when the ARL takes in over 400 cats each month.”
The Animal Rescue League (ARL) recommends all potential cat and kitten adopters complete an ARL adoption application and turn into the ARL by noon on Friday, June 16, 2017 to insure approval before the adoption weekend. Adoption applications are located on the ARL website, www.BerksARL.org.
Only potential adopters with approved applications are allowed into the cat and kitten rooms at the ARL. The Animal Rescue League’s Book Buddy Program will be cancelled on Saturday, June 17 and June 18 during the cat adoption weekend. ARL dogs, farm animals, critters will not be included in the adoption weekend.
