Best friends, Caroline Davies and Wendy Fawell, went to Manchester Arena together to pick up their kids from the Ariana Grande concert. The friends split up so they wouldn't miss the kids as they left the arena. Unfortunately, Wendy was killed in the terrorist attack leaving her 15-year-old daughter without a mother. Caroline promised to care for Wendy's daugther and love her "like my own".
