Meet Akua! She is an 8 year old spayed female American Pit Bull Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix. The owner was pregnant and felt she could not give Akua the attention she deserved. Akua was said to do well with children and strangers, and she preferred to have people home with her, so she would do best with someone who will be home most of the day to keep her company. Along with doing well with people, Akua has also lived with dogs and cats in her life and said to be great with them as well. Akua knows sit, stay, and lay down and is housebroken. While Akua is a fearless swimmer, she is quite scared of the vaccum. Akua’s fee to adopt is $65. Please help get this senior beauty adopted!
