International Organized Crime Drug Bust Brings Unique Furry Friend To Local Animal Shelter

A drug bust in Chester County brought a unique animal to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. ARL was called in to help when police found a marmoset monkey at a major pot-growing operation. The monkey was picked up by the Pennsylvania Game commission and transferred to an animal sanctuary where it will live with two other marmosets. In the state, people are required to have special permits to keep marmosets in their home.
