Berks County Rugby Football Club was able to develop a high school girls' rugby team in the fall of 2024. The majority of these girls had never played rugby. The coaches taught them, developed them, and watched them grow.
In their second season of Fall 7s, these girls have managed to become one of the top teams in the state. They have been given the opportunity of a lifetime and were invited to tour Italy and play rugby with Italian teams.
This is a big ask, but it is a chance that they may never get again, and we parents want to see these girls enjoy what they love and experience amazing things.
As the world of female rugby grows, our girls are at the forefront and breaking through so many barriers. I have never been so in awe of a scrappy group of young women. Please help us get them to Italy in the spring!
