#1 - Reading Fire Department officials say some 40 people in the Jamestown Village Apartments have been affected by weekend flash floods. Forecasters say storms shed from three to five inches over eastern Pennsylvania Sunday. Berks County saw the highest rainfall total locally, with accumulations nearing seven inches in West Lawn in Spring Township.
#2 - A Code Orange air quality alert has been issued for the entire state for Monday. The advisory comes as smoke from Canadian wildfires is once again carried into the region. Officials with the state Department of Environmental Protection say people in sensitive groups, such as older adults, young children and those suffering from respiratory diseases, should not spend a lot of time outdoors.
#3 - An Ohio plastic surgeon's medical license has been permanently revoked after she livestreamed surgeries on Tik Tok. The Ohio Medical Board voted last week to ban Dr. Katharine Grawe for what it calls ignoring basic patient care. The board said Grawe spoke into the camera and answered viewer questions instead of focusing on her patients.
