Don't Eat Cheese Before Going To Bed!

Grandma knew what she was talking about. The “old wives’ tale” that eating cheese before bedtime would give you nightmares turns out to be backed by science. Amino acids in cheese have been shown to cause nightmares, as it’s thought they disrupt sleep and lead to vivid dreams.

That’s not the only “old wives’ tale” that has turned out to be true. Honey has been shown to help make a cough better, and science has proven that eating carrots does help your eyesight. In other words…listen to your grandma.
