PA Woman Has Identity Stolen In Ukraine Fundraising Effort

A Pennsylvania woman is asking people to use caution when donating to Ukraine relief efforts after her identity was stolen. According to WTAE-TV, Ukraine native and current Carnegie resident Lesya Jurgovsky had almost two-hundred-fifty thousand dollars stolen from an online fund she started with family and friends. Another smaller fund Jurgovsky organized was also targeted by hackers. Jurgovsky says donating to a Ukrainian church or trusted local organization is a safer way to support the people of Ukraine.
