In action flicks, when cops use spike strips to catch a speeding car, it always works out great. In real life, things can get messy if the surrounding traffic isn’t taken into account. In Tucson, Arizona, police are coming under fire after their use of spike strips damaged seven cars…none of which were the suspect they were trying to stop. Among them was Kim Agita. She found out the hard way that she had two flat tires while cruising along at 70mph in Interstate 10. The cops have since apologized and offered to tow the cars for repair, but it remains to be seen who’s going to pay for the new tires and other damage that may’ve resulted.
