(Reading, PA) -- Government buildings in Berks County are going to be closed today due to the winter weather. President Judge Thomas Parisi announced yesterday that all county buildings will be closed today for employees who are not involved in 24-seven operations. While the commissioner's meeting has been canceled, the virtual retirement board meeting is still expected to go on this morning at 9:30 a.m. Officials say they will be monitoring the snowstorm to see how it will affect operations for tomorrow.
