Rob Gronkowski has yet to give any indication that he plans to play football in 2019, but the Pro Bowl tight end continues to keep fans on edge.
Gronkowski shared a video on social media over the weekend teasing a “big announcement” that he can’t wait to deliver to fans tomorrow.
“I have a big announcement to make. I can’t wait to drop it on all of you." Gronk said in the announcement, adding that the announcement will be made tomorrow at 9:00 AM.
If the announcement is the very one fans want it to be—his coming out of retirement—Gronk is forgoing a lot of suspense, as he doesn’t need to let the Pats know until Saturday, November 30thif he wants to return from the reserve/retired list.
And knowing Gronk—he will milk that date for all it’s worth.
Couple that with the fact that the last time Gronkowski teased a similar announcement, it turned out to be his partnering with a CBD company—because he knows people are going to assume any big announcement relates to his football career. I wouldn’t expect anything substantial.
Regardless, any Gronk announcement is worth a listen, so I, for one, can’t wait. And I am not even a Patriots fan.
