Mother, Daughter Arrested After 43 Dogs Removed From 'Deporable' Puppy Mill

A mother and daughter are facing charges connected to a puppy mill found in Monroe County this week. The sheriff's office removed more than 40 Maltipoo dogs who were living in what investigators described as deplorable conditions. One dog was found dead. The mother was arrested on eight felony animal cruelty-related counts, while both women were charged with three dozen misdemeanor animal neglect counts.
