Exeter Township police are searching for a driver who struck a 6-year-old girl as she exited her school bus. It happened around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of West 47th Street and Oak Parkway. Officers said a red SUV ignored the flashing lights and stop signs on the bus and hit the child -- then took off. The girl was taken to Reading Hospital. Her condition is not known.
