Rush Limbaugh is rewriting history on his own terms.  The outspoken talk radio host announced his new venture, a children's book, on his talk show Thursday.

In addition to the lengthy title, "Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims: Time-Travel Adventures with Exceptional Americans," the book's cover includes an illustrated depiction of a scroll-bearing Limbaugh in colonial dress, standing ashore next to a horse as a colonial-era ship navigates waves in the background.  Limbaugh says although the book is aimed at kids, it's for everyone who wants to learn American history.

He insists there is no politics in the book and that it's just his way of "teaching what isn't being taught" in schools today.  "Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims" is available for pre-order in hard cover and audiobook format on Amazon.
